Deep Sea Fishing KauaiWith so many choices some find it hard to decide on the "right" outfit for your hawaiian fishing adventure. We make it easy. Locating our operation in sunny Hananpepe, Deep Sea Fishing Kauai offers you a better fishing experience because we are on the leeward side of the island. Calmer leeward waters provide more fishing days and a better fishing for everyone. Contrast this with the windward side and you will feel the difference. In addition, Port Allen is less congested. With only two charter companies operating from this harbor there is always an untouched ledge and plenty of open ocean for searching out big game. Most importantly, Deep Sea Fishing Kauai provides more options. Our west side location affords us access to the forbidden island of Niihau, the legendary Na' Pali Coast, the Banks, Mana Crack and Makahuena Point. In addition we are fishing just south of the North Western Hawaiian Island Coral Reef Reserve, the largest game reserve in the entire world. With facts like this it's easy to see why fishing with us on the "Big Ta Do" is the ultimate hawaiian adventure
Our 31 foot Bertram, "Big Ta Do", is a fishing machine. This classic sport fisher has a reputation around the world as a true performer. "Big Ta Do " is fully outfitted with Shimano Tiagra series reels, custom rods and all the gear you will need for a job well done. | We met Captain J early on his request. An hour later we had a few dozen koshibi in the boat and things were "looking good". In fact the birds were so thick we could smell them in the air and the tuna were flying in to the sky. Captain J pointed out that we could also smell the fish as there were many and they to had a musky smell. It was an "exceptional day on during the best tuna year on record" as captain J promised it would not be long. 1st pass and the reel emptied out like there was a truck tied to the other end. We put david (10 years old) in the chair. He was thrilled to be in such a place. Blue ocean churning in a sky dimmed with birds. Wow. With plenty of help from our captain and crew David sat on top of a 110# Yellow Fin. We booked a 4 hour charter not knowing the weather and our own abilities and wished we had booked the week. A truly amazing day and the fastest action I've seen. The Big Ta Do is a fishing boat through and through. Captain J was awesome. We will be seeing him again as we have met a true friend. |
Crew : 10 of 10 they let us fish not watch Fun : 10 of 10 more interactive and great friends to fish with, we are return customers Value : 10 of 10 we paid a little more than the cut rate charters but found out it was a value well worth a extra couple bucks |
