Kauai Land and Sightseeing Tour - Waimea Canyon and Wailua River Tour

This tour captures the very best of Kauai from the famous "Grand Canyon of the Pacific", to an actual trip up the Wailua River with a visit to the Fern Grotto where you will hear a memorable rendition of "The Hawaiian Wedding Song". Tours are conducted on comfortable air-conditioned mini-buses by friendly, knowledgeable guides. (A sweater and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.)

Not only will you see The Waimea Canyon and Wailua River, but you will also see Hanapepe Valley. You will visit the Spouting Horn Blowhole at Poipu on the south shore.  On this tour you will also visit historic old Koloa which is where sugar production started in Hawaii.

Other stops and major sights along the way include the Poipu Resorts, Russian Fort, Queen Victoria's profile, Nawiliwili Harbor, Coco Palms Grove, Birth Stone, and Opaekaa Falls.

A stop is made for lunch at Poipu Grill & Bar or Lihue Restaurant (please note that lunch is not included in the price of this tour and the stop location is subject to change).

Days of operation: Daily

Transportation and Pickup Time: Round-trip transportation from Lihue, Wailua, Princeville and Poipu hotels. The length of this tour is approx. 9.5 hours long from Lihue, Wailua, and Poipu. It is 11 hours long if you are in Princeville and pickup is approx. 7:30 am but the exact time of pickup will be emailed to you depending on where you are staying.
