Oahu Coastlines and Cliffs Tour
Experience a breathtaking afternoon guided-tour of Oahu's eastern coastline. The tour includes Diamond Head crater up to Oahu's lush rain forests and rocky cliffs. This picturesque journey is sometimes referred to as "little circle island." Begin in Waikiki, next it is off to Diamond Head, Kahala and Aina Haina. We continue the scenic journey to Hawaii's only Nature Preserve and Marine Life Conservation District, Hanauma Bay, for a scenic lookout view of mother nature's perfect aquarium. Next we stop at Halona "Blow Hole" Lookout, where the larger the ocean wave, the larger the spray as water shoots as high as thirty feet in the air through a lava tube. Continue the coastline journey with Sandy Beach a favorite among experienced surfers, boogie boarder and locals. It is known for its challenging shore breaks. Before reaching Hawaiian homestead in Waimanalo for a rest stop, you will see Makapu'u Lookout and view Manana Island known as Rabbit Island as it was once the home to colonies of rabbits. The final stop on the Afternoon Delight of Coastlines and Cliffs is up Nuuanu Pali Lookout. This is where King Kamehameha and his warriors defeated Oahu armies by sending them over the steep forested cliffs claiming victory and uniting the Hawaiian Islands. The spectacular sight coupled with this gruesome history of battle may sweep you off your feet if not the amazing winds that often pass through the Pali.
