North Shore Catamaran Whale Watching 2 1/2 Hours
The North Shore of Oahu has more whale sightings than any other location on Oahu, and a cruise along Oahu's North Shore is almost like a trip back in time, with a panorama resembling a turn-of-the-century painting. The stage is set for a spectacular show – last season there were over 700 sightings and two double breeches in the Haleiwa Harbor Channel. Your friendly captain will share the history of the island with you as he searches for these majestic creatures. Whale sightings are guaranteed, or you get a free pass to cruise again!
Hawaiian Humpback Whales, or na kohola, as they are called in Hawaii, are a very important part of the Hawaii marine biology ecosystem, a long standing icon in native Hawaiian culture and a delightful part of the Hawaii visitor experience during the winter months.
North Shore Catamaran Charters places a great emphasis on responsible tourism on north shore Oahu. It is our goal to help you experience the majestic whale watching Hawaii has to offer, while educating our guests and respecting the natural environment of the whales. These mystical creatures join us on our Hawaii whale watching tours in the winter. To fully enjoy your whale watching tour, please be prepared with the following:
- Glasses or contacts if you need them. - Still or video camera, with telephoto lens. - A sense of wonder!
