Big Island Hawaii Zip Line Tour

Join us for the first canopy zip line tour on the Big Island of Hawaii. This Hawaii activity features eight zip line runs, gorgeous scenery and knowledgeable guides. This zipline tour includes transportation in our 6 wheel-drive vehicles up the North Kohala mountain side, zip across 8 ziplines and snacks. You can expect one of the zip lines to cross a suspension bridge overlooking flowing waterfalls.

What makes the Zip Line Canopy Tour an eco-tour? Construction of the zipline tour did not include cutting any new roads and no trees are damaged. Platforms and bridges were made with guava underbrush for handrails and recycled wood from a local dealer. Although the structures are beautifully designed and aesthetically pleasing, safety remained our number one priority. All snacks offered are organically grown and locally produced. Plans are in place to convert all power usage to solar and wind sources by the summer of 2009.

Where And When	Directions: Hwy 270 into North Kohala. Just passed mile marker 21 once in Hawi town you will see a little white building on your right, take a right on that road - Hawi Rd. You will immediately see signs that say Kohala Village Inn & Luke's Place and Big Island Eco Adventures. Turn right into the parking lot, go down to the end and turn left when you see another zipline sign and an arrow. The back row along a line of palm tree is designated for Big Island Eco Adventures's zipline guests. Check-in will be in our trailer right next to the parking. Operation Days	Closed Sundays.
Requirements	Participants must weigh between 80 and 270 lbs. Minors must have an adult present on the tour. No refunds will be issued at check-in for guests who do not fall between the required age or weight range. These Big Island Activities require a low to medium degree of physical stamina and strength
Restrictions	Not for people with heart conditions, recent bone or joint injuries or pregnant women
