Island Watersports Hawaii Submersible Scooters

Let the friendly staff at Island Water Sports Hawaii take you on a truly unique, underwater adventure aboard one of our submersible scooters in Maunalua Bay, Oahu. Our underwater scooters will allow you to view the marvels of the sea while effortlessly riding your very own self-propelled, eco-friendly electric scooter. No diving or scuba experience necessary. There are no uncomfortable constraints of conventional dive equipment.

This one of a kind adventure begins when you board our 40-foot custom dive boat for a scenic cruise to your crystal clear dive location. Upon arrival to the dive site, you will be briefed by our staff and then begin your incredible underwater adventure. Your professional tour guide will lead you effortlessly through beautiful tropical reefs so you can enjoy the colorful fish, corals and amazing green sea turtles of Hawaii. The tour also features snorkeling, swimming, shade areas and a spacious sun deck so you can relax and soak up the spectacular Hawaiian sun.

Transportation is an option for 9 am tours. (Waikiki area only)

Submersible Scooters

Our fun and exciting underwater scooters work on the bell theory. Remember back in science class when you would turn a glass upside down in a bucket of water and no water would enter the glass? The scooter is based on the same concept and as you descend a seal is formed so you are dry inside the bubble. It’s amazing! No diving or scuba experience necessary. Safe for the whole family!

This two hour tour Includes snack and refreshment.

Island Watersports Hawaii offers 2 Submersible Scooters activities to choose from! You can choose the Original Submersible Scooters activity that is 2 hours long and includes a 20 minute sub scooter ride followed by fun activities such as snorkeling, swimming, shade areas and a spacious sun deck on a 45 foot barge.

The second option is the 2 Hour Sub Eco-Scooter & Scenic Turtle Watching Adventure. Enjoy a 20 minute sub scooter ride, followed by a 1 1/2 hour scenic turtle watching on our 40-foot custom dive boat. This tour includes a refreshment and snack, swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, and kicking back in the shade. Also includes a brief tour of the Hawaii Five-O filming grounds!
