Hawaii Fishing is one of the most popular of all Hawaii attractions. The thrill of the catch and the nature of the quarry bring anglers from worldwide to try their luck against the biggest game fish that Hawaii has to offer. Fishing in Hawaii is serious business and you need a serious boat with an experienced crew to even the odds between you and the marlin, tuna, and other Hawaii sportfish.
MAY 6 th NOTICE:
NOTE: WE NO LONGER SUPPORT BOOM BOOM FISHING. WE HAVE HAD TOO MANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS FISHING CHARTER FROM LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS TO JUST UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CHARTER AND WILL BE TAKING THE PRICING DOWN.
Our job at Hawaiidiscount.com is to offer the best activities and tours and we do not feel that this one is one of them. There are other excellent charters such as Maggie Joe and Blue Nun Fishing.
FROM THE WEBSITE YELP:
Don't waste your money. They aren't always honest about what you'll get for your money. You won't always get to keep any of the fish you catch and they might not tell you that up front.
We had 3 hook-ups and the crew (one person) was only able to help us keep one (a 120+lb Ahi) - two got away and no fish to take home for dinner.
We paid for a private charter for Boom Boom II but when we got to the dock, the vessel they brought was called Deuce - not the boat we paid for.
This is just one of the complaints. We have had this company cancel on customer at the last minute and our customers have told us they have been unfair with the amount of fish they were given.

The Waianae Coast is one of the Hawaiian Island's most abundant Oahu fishing grounds. Known for its relatively calm deep waters, the coast has 3 FAD (Fish Aggregation Devices) located close to Shore which brings some very big pelagic fish near the island.
Pelagic fish include marlin, ahi (yellowfin tuna), mahimahi (dolphinfish), and ono (wahoo). Leaving from Waianae means that you spend your day in prime fishing waters not boat-riding to and from them.
Catch fish such as Ahi (Yellowfin Tuna), Ono (Wahoo), Mahi Mahi (Dolphin Fish) and Marlin.
