Our group surfing lessons are limited to a maximum of 4 people. They are semi-private surfing lessons which require no experience needed. Semi-private lessons are available for beginners interested in personalized instruction for only them and a friend, and strongly recommended for children 12 years old and younger and/or weighing 75 pounds or less. These classes are kept to a two students to one instructor ratio.
Hans Hedemann will personally take you surfing in the best breaks on Oahu on the North or South Shores and provide the lesson of a lifetime for the "Briefcase Surfer" or the surfer who knows what they want to achieve. The premiere surfing school in Hawaii. A team of Lifeguard and CPR trained instructors and safety guides provide a great experience for the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Surfer. Four people per instructor. You are guaranteed to get up and riding during this 2 hour lesson. Your 2 hour surf lesson begins with a 20 minute land lesson. Learn proper paddling technique, turning the surfboard, maneuvering over waves and positioning to stand up and ride your first wave. Water safety and etiquette is also taught. Next you will be in the water for 1.5 hours learning to stand and ride waves.
