ATV with Cowboys of Hawaii is thrilling! Two scenic routes are offered to guests. Both provide visitors the opportunity to learn firsthand about Parker Ranch and its absorbing history while observing beautiful landscapes, stunning vistas and a variety of plant life. Morning and Afternoon rides are 2 hours long. The Sunset ride is 1 1/2 hours. Snacks and beverages included for all rides. Horseback Riding with Cowboys of Hawaii is breathtaking! Come and see where it all began, PARKER RANCH, where paniolos (cowboys) and horses first met 150 years ago. The ride starts at the Blacksmiths Shop, going on to the breaking Pen, through rolling hills to the Stone Corrals, where as many as 5000 head of Hereford cattle were held after being driven down from the slopes of Mauna Kea. Get ready to experience the live cattle. The cattle being driven looked like a river of red moving down the side of the mountain. From there moving on to more historical sites, such as the Red Track where famous Parker Ranch Thoroughbreds were trained and still hold World records for speed. For those who choose not to ride and are waiting for others there are Wagon Rides, Historical Homes Tours and the Visitors Center and Museum at the Parker Ranch Shopping Center, are alternate activities available. Come Morning or Afternoon for a 2 hour ride through famous Parker Ranch, or come in the evening to experience Waimea's breathtaking sunset on a 1 1/2 - 2 hour horseback ride.
