Akaka Falls - Kahuna FallsIf you are looking for an adventure, you will not be disappointed when you explore the spectacular natural landmarks Hawaii has to offer. Akaka Falls is an enormous cascade of water. Being the second highest waterfall on the island it stands at 440 feet. Akaka Falls is located 11 miles north of Hilo. Akaka Falls is located on the North – Eastern side of the island. Kahuna Falls is a neighboring waterfall that you will also enjoy. Although a bit smaller, Kahuna Falls is a site to see. To add more scenic spots, take the 4 mile Pepeekeo Scenic Drive between Honomu and Hilo.
