Mokulele Airlines
Mokulele Airlines is an American commuter airline that is located in Kalaoa CDP in Hawaii. The Mokulele Airline was founded in 1998, the first Hawaiian airline to be founded by a native Hawaiian woman! Mokulele Airways mostly operates tour and inter-island flights through Hawaii’s smaller airports. For example, if you are planning a vacation to Oahu but would like to check out one of the other Hawaiian Islands during your stay, you can fly on Mokulele Air and get to see two of the islands instead of just one.
In 2008, Mokulele Air announced that they had reached an agreement to provide inter-island jet service along with Republic Airways Holdings. Later that same year, the popular island air line finalized partnerships with two bigger North American airlines: Alaska Airlines and WestJet Airlines. All three of the airlines will promote each other and join together to offer their customers a more complete flying experience.
Mokulele Airlines now has a new home and hangar situated close to the airport on Kaulele Place. Mokulele Reservations’ new reservations and corporate offices are located in the two-story building where approximately 40 workers report to currently. This kind of expansion and growth is certainly a good sign for the island air line.
Mokulele Airline’s new jets are out of this world, the staff is enthusiastic, and the seats are huge and very comfy. During this hard economic time, it’s a positive and encouraging sign that Mokulele Airways has increased their revenue by 100% since January 2009.
