Witness the life-giving and land-sculpting power of water, as we ramble through a changing landscape of rushing streams, towering ocean cliffs and cascading waterfalls. See how people throughout history have lived off the power of water, from the terraced taro lo’i of Hawaiians to the fast moving irrigation ditches of Kohala sugar plantations. Tour Time: Morning: Departs at 8:30 am and returns at 12:00 pm – check-in at 8:15 am Afternoon: Departs at 12:45 pm and returns at 4:15 pm – check-in at 12:30 pm

Activity: Short walk under 2 miles. 2 to 2 ½ hours of off road 6 wheel driving.
Dress Code: Guests should wear closed-toe walking shoes or reef walkers or sports sandals, bathing suit under shorts, towel, a hat, sunscreen and a light sweatshirt or jacket.
Restrictions: Physical—Must be able to walk over uneven muddy terrain and short climbs. Not recommended for those with back or neck problems.
Age—Children must be 6 years or older.
