Pacific Whale Foundation - Molokini Exclusive Snorkel Sail

Departing from Ma'alaea Harbor, this special Maui sailing tour takes you to beautiful Molokini crater, an offshore islet known for being a prime snorkeling destination. Come aboard Maui's newest luxury sailing catamaran, the Ocean Spirit, for a fun cruise along the South Maui coastline. With this small group setting operating at 50% capacity, you’ll enjoy Maui’s most popular snorkel destination without the crowds.

Molokini is designated as a Marine Life Conservation District and a sea bird sanctuary, so you are likely to see a wide variety of marine wildlife. One hour of snorkeling and bird watching at Molokini will be matched by a second hour of snorkeling and turtle watching at a shoreline location. Later, enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch and ice cold drinks on board before sailing back to Ma'alaea Harbor.

Tour time: 7:00 am - 12:30 pm
Check in at 6:15 am at Pacific Whale Foundation's Ocean Store at the Maui Harbor Shops, which shares a parking lot with Maui Ocean Center, located at 192 Maalaea Rd, Wailuku (GPS address). View Map
Parking at the Maui Harbor Shops/Maui Ocean Center Aquarium is $1.00/hour and the first 15 minutes are free.

Restrictions:
Use of any full-face snorkel masks are not allowed on Pacific Whale Foundation activities due to safety concerns.
REEF-SAFE SUNSCREEN GUIDELINES: This tour requires you to use reef-safe sunscreen in accordance with the statewide band on sunscreens that harm the reefs. Please read the ingredients list of your sunscreen as "reef-safe" is not a regulated term and sunscreens listed as such can have the following banned ingredients in them: oxybenzone, octinoxate, avobenzone, avobenzine, homosalate, octisalate, octocrylene, and ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate. Reef-Safe sunscreen can also be found in local stores.

The Ocean Spirit is Pacific Whale Foundation's newest sailing catamaran. It was custom designed and features streamlined hulls and a spacious deck design, providing the ultimate in passenger comfort. The extra large deck offers plenty of outdoor seating. The vessel features his and her air-conditioned bathrooms, padded seating and a surround sound system. Although the Ocean Spirit has a capacity of 90 passengers, Pacific Whale Foundation limits the number of passengers by cruise type to provide an open yachting experience with plenty of room to relax.
