Kualoa Ranch - Horseback Adventure Package

Kualoa Ranch is Oahu's largest working cattle ranch. It's a prime visitor location to enjoy a variety of activities, including this horseback adventure package that includes horseback riding, a movie sites tour and a garden tour (Taste of Kualoa Farm Tour)!

Horseback Riding Tour:

Enjoy magnificent vistas as you ride across Kualoa's 4,000 acre cattle ranch. This one hour ride will take you across pastures and on wooded rails to a scenic overlook above an 800-year-old Hawaiian fishpond.

Movie Sites & Ranch Tour:

Hop aboard a vintage school bus and explore gorgeous Ka'a'awa Valley, where many of Hollywood's biggest blockbuster movies and television shows were filmed and World War II bunkers are. See Godzilla’s footprints. You'll also visit countless other locations, including sites from Jurassic World, Jurassic Park, Jumanji, Fallen Kingdom, Kong Skull Island, Godzilla, 50 First Dates, Hawaii Five-O, the new Magnum PI and of course… LOST!

Taste of Kualoa Farm Tour:

Visit a 55 acre fruit and tropical flower garden full of native varieties and located along the edge of Kaneohe Bay. There you'll learn about "canoe plants" that were brought over by ancient Hawaiians, plantation crops and the beautiful tropical flowers and fruits grown on property. You'll also taste-test tropical fruits at Kualoa's private fruit stand.

  • Buffet lunch available from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm

* There may be some down time between tours depending on the start times of the day for each tour. During these down times you'll be able to go to the buffet lunch and/or visit the Kualoa History Hall, Judd Theater, the Farm Animal Exhibit, Sculpture Garden, or Kualoa Gift Shop.

Special Instructions
Where and When:
Check in at 7:45 am. Tours end around 2:00 to 2:30 pm.
Kualoa Ranch is only 45 minutes from Waikiki. Take the H-1 Freeway west to the Likelike Highway, Route #63. Proceed up the Likelike Highway and through the Wilson Tunnel. Descend towards Kaneohe town and exit onto Kahekili Highway, Route #83, heading north. Continue along Kahekili Highway - note that the road becomes Kamehameha Highway as you pass the historic "Hygienic Store" in the village of Kahalu'u. In about 10 minutes you will see signs indicating you are approaching the Kualoa Ranch entrance which will be on your left as you round the curve past Mokoli'i Island (Chinaman's Hat).

All guests must attend a briefing and sign a liability waiver before tour begins.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at check in to sign the liability waiver.
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult on all tours.

Minimum Age: 10 yrs old
Minimum Height: 4ft. 6in. (137 cm)
Maximum Weight: 230 lbs (104 kg)
Covered shoes are recommended and sunscreen is highly recommended.
Special Notes:
Kualoa Ranch Health and Safety Guidelines:
All guests will be required to wear a face covering (i.e. mask/bandana) while on the property (including during tours). All guests will need to pass a mandatory temperature check & health screen at the ranch entrance to be allowed on the property (any temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher and/or those experiencing symptoms will not be allowed on the property at this time).
