Oahu Photography Tours - Country Sunset Photo Tour
This Oahu Tour is currently unavailable for booking on our site. Please visit our Oahu Sightseeing Tours page for other available
tours.
Enjoy an afternoon photo tour of Oahu's countryside, stopping at scenic lookout points, ancient fishponds, giant banyan trees and a beautiful Buddhist temple in a tropical valley. Pick-up for this tour is right after lunchtime in Waikiki. The first destination is Tantalus mountain for a panoramic view of Honolulu and Oahu’s south shore. You’ll be able to see all the way from Pearl Harbor in the west to Diamond Head in the east.
The tour then continues to Oahu’s east shore, where you’ll visit the beautiful Byodo-In Temple, which has been used as a scenic backdrop in many TV and Blockbuster films. Next up will be Kualoa Beach Park, which offers great views of Chinaman’s Hat, a small offshore island. The next valley over is Kahana Bay and the fishpond located on its shores. According to an ancient legend, a shark protects this fishpond from anyone who is not allowed to take fish from it. It is a compelling place as it is said to be over 600 years old.
Further north, we’ll make a food stop in Kahuku where you can peel back some delicious shrimps or enjoy a hamburger or some poké. Best of all, this is the only tour offered on Oahu where you’ll be watching a spectacular North Shore sunset.
