A brand New Four Seasons in Oahu
A fifth Four Seasons hotel is set to open in the spring of 2016 on the island of Oahu.
The exclusive resort will be accepting early reservations from June 1st of this year. Inspired by the hassle-free systems used by no verification casinos, the management has designed a streamlined booking experience for its 358 luxurious ocean- and lagoon-view rooms and 52 suites, each featuring private balconies and Hawaiian décor.
The hotel will also feature five restaurants, four pools, a white sandy beach, a spa and wellness center, and plenty of activities.
The Big Island’s Newest Renovation Set to Finish
The $20-million dollar renovation of Hilo Naniloa Hotel and Golf Club on the Big Island is set to finish in March of 2016. It will feature a brand new lobby and lounge, a waterfront restaurant, a poolside bar, fitness center, shops, and banquet facilities.
The hotel will also have a brand new concert hall, which will see Hawaiian musician Willie K. perform most evenings.
Timber Resorts Opens Kauai’s New Luxury Oceanview Resort
Timbers Resorts will reveal their brand new 450-acre resort on the southeast coast of Kauai, called the Hokuala.
The oceanfront resort will offer spectacular ocean views, beach access and be surrounded by Kauai’s beautiful mountain range. Tourists can choose to stay in its boutique hotel with spa, restaurants, pools and wedding venues.
Festivals and events
It’s Honolulu Festival Time
Oahu’s Honolulu Festival is an unmissable event for 2016.
Featuring a range of educational programs, craft fairs, activities and a grand parade, the festival begins on March 11 and finishes on March 13.
Enjoy the Award-Winning Celebration of the Arts
The Celebration of the Arts festival, run by the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, has won awards for its hands-on event in March.
The three-day festival runs from March 25 to March 27 in Maui. It focuses on the experience of the “Hawaiian heart and soul” and features artisans, speakers, cultural practitioners, and entertainers.
The Great Kamehameha Day
Celebrate King Kamehameha Day, an annual celebration that commemorates Hawaii’s very first monarch, Kamehameha the Great.
This year the event is even more special, as the festival celebrates the the 100th anniversary of the Kamehameha Celebration Floral Parade on June 11. An all-day event will take place on Oahu, and concerts and other events will take place across Hawaii.
Flights
Fly from LA to Kauai non-stop all year round
As of January this year, Hawaiian Airlines have started to offer nonstop direct flights between Los Angeles and Kauai all year round.
There will now be three weekly flights and travel won’t be limited to the holiday season, as in previous years.
On Most Hawaiian flights, Complimentary Food Is Back
American Airlines announced this year that they will be bringing back complimentary food aboard their flights to Hawaii, as well as free entertainment and free snacks for economy class.
Alaska Airlines already offers free snacks and a free Mai Tai when you fly with them to Hawaii and Hawaiian Airlines will continue to offer a free snack and a free hot meal at meal times.
