This luxury tour is the perfect way to learn about Hawaiian history, sip Kona coffee, explore an exotic cloud forest and discover Kona’s tastiest beer. It’s a great half-day tour that has you back lounging at the pool with plenty of daytime left.

You’ll visit the Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park and walk the grounds of ancient Hawaiian fishponds while learning about Hawaiian culture. Keep an eye out for green sea turtles that are frequently seen here.

At the Mountain Thunder Coffee farm, which is located high on the slopes of Hualalai Volcano, you’ll learn about how coffee is grown and roasted, all while sampling a freshly brewed cup.

The tour continues on to the Kona Cloud Forest. Walk through an enchanting forest shrouded in mist. The Kona Cloud Forest is a unique sanctuary of ancient Koa and Ohia trees, hundreds of varieties of bamboo and giant ferns. Bird lovers love it for exotics, including the Hawaiian hawk and several honeycreeper species.

Wind down the mountain to cool off with a cold Kona beer or cider at Ola Brew Co. Tour Kona’s newest local brewery, taste from a flight of beers and ciders, and enjoy a delicious lunch.
