Visit three of Hilo's most popular attractions: the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Farm, Akaka Falls and Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo & Gardens, which is the only natural tropical rainforest zoo in the United States. At the mac nut farm, you can see how macadamia nuts are being processed. Visit the farm's gift shop and snack bar and shop for souvenirs. Akaka Falls is one of the Big Island's most popular waterfalls, dropping 442 feet. Here, you’ll have the option of walking the one mile pathway through lush tropical forest before returning to the ship.
