This is a great combo tour that combines a visit to Waimea Canyon State Park with Luau Kalamaku, one of Kauai’s most popular Hawaiian luaus.
Your day starts with a scenic drive up Waimea Canyon Road into the island’s interior. Waimea Canyon is Kauai’s top natural attraction and for good reason. Known as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific," Waimea Canyon boasts spectacular views of multi-colored rock walls, waterfalls and lush gorges. From a lookout point at 3,400 feet above sea level, you’ll enjoy a spectacular view of the canyon and surrounding countryside.
Dinner will be a special treat at Luau Kalamaku, a traditional Hawaiian luau that allows you to experience a piece of Hawaiian culture. Watch island arts & crafts, witness an authentic imu ceremony (where the roast pig is taken out of the underground oven) and then sit down to a savory luau buffet dinner featuring a wide variety of delicacies. Dinner is followed by an exciting show with music and dances from Hawaii and other Polynesian island nations.
