Maui Mountain Bike Tours are one of the most popular things to do in Maui. Maui biking is a great way to experience the island’s beauty. Enjoy bi-coastal views of the Central Valley as you Bike Down a Volcano. Ride through the green switchbacks of Haleakala’s western slope on a downhill bicycle.
Either get picked up at major hotels or meet at our base office location in Kahului. Enjoy a pastries and hot beverages. You will be fitted with bicycle helmets and windbreakers for your comfort and tour safety. The safari van ascends to the top of Haleakala Ranch at the 6500’ elevation level just outside of the National Park entrance. Tour Guides will go over a comprehensive safety briefing including Hawaii’s bicycle safety regulations and tour guidelines before you begin your descent down the world’s largest dormant volcano.
Haleakala Bike Rides gently descend the western slopes of Haleakala with two safety stops in the switchbacks for rest, rider evaluation and photo opportunities. Haleakala safari guides will point out Maui highlights and unique features of the mountain.
There will be a stop at a local spot for a no host lunch.

No pregnant women or those with medical conditions that would adversely effect them.
No beginner bike riders.
Minimum age of 12 years.
Minimum height of 5 ft with a minimum inseam of 24 inches.
Maximum weight of 250lbs.
Riders must sign acknowledgement of risk & safety form.
Van Rider Restrictions (no bike riding):
Pregnant women may partake in the tour as a Van Rider.
Van Riders under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a Van Rider that is 18 years or older.
Minimum age to ride in the van is 7 years old.
