Founder and resident master instructor Tim Sherer has personally taught more than 30,000 beginner surfing students here on Maui.  He holds certifications from the Maui Red Cross in CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard Training.  A formal education and a relationship with the ocean have been ongoing parts of his life since early childhood.  His joy and enthusiasm for both have earned him a university degree and resume rich with surfing experiences around the world.  He possesses a wealth of knowledge and coaching ability to offer the aspiring student.  His approach to teaching is very positive, patient and adaptable towards the needs of each individual.  The goals and concerns of our students, and safety, fun and learning are our primary priorities!  If you are interested in learning to surf from one of the best, Tim’s reputation in the field is virtually unparalleled.
