Body Glove - Captain Cook Historical Lunch Cruise
This Big Island Tour is currently unavailable for booking on our site. Please visit our Big Island Tours and Activities page for other available
tours.
Come aboard Body Glove's spacious catamaran and enjoy a scenic lunch cruise from Kailua-Kona to Kealakekua Bay. As you cruise down the Kona Coast, the on board historian will point out many points of interest, including the Ahu'ena Heiau, the Holua Slide and the famous Kuamo'o Battlefield.
Kealakekua Bay is also an important historical location on the Big Island, where you’ll be able to see the Captain Cook Monument which was built to honor Captain Cook, a British explorer and navigator who was the first European to begin formal contact with the Hawaiian Islands in 1778.
Enjoy a lunch served on board and live Hawaiian music as we head back to Kailua. Keep your camera ready for amazing sea and landscapes, but also for the occasional visit of marine mammals. We often see dolphins along the way and in the winter months even whales!
