Looking to venture out on Kaneohe Bay on your own? Rent a single or double kayak with Kama'aina Kayak and Snorkel Eco-Ventures and explore the area on your own. Add the Yak Pak for snorkeling gear too!

The bay is home to Oahu's only barrier reef. You can rent for a half day (4 hours) or for a full day (8 hours). Don't forget to enjoy the beach while you're there too. You can explore so much including dozens of patch reefs and more!

**All rentals are due back by 4pm at the latest. This means if you go out later than planned and have a 4 hour or 8 hour rental you will still be required to return by 4pm and your rental time will not be the full 4 or 8 hours

Where and When:: Available kayak pick-up times:
8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm
The shop closes at 4:00 pm and kayaks must be returned before 4:00 pm regardless of the pick-up time.

Requirements:
Restrictions:: Minimum age of 3 required. NO INFANTS ALLOWED.
Children must be at least 30-50lbs to fit the smallest size life jacket available.
Children under the age of 13 must wear life jackets at all times while on/in the water.
Basic swimming ability required.
It is strongly suggested that kayakers are comfortable in the ocean. There is no guide or lifeguard.

Please bring a credit card to put on file for any damages to equipment. You can also rent at an additional cost anchors, waterproof dry bags, coolers and snorkel gear at check-in.
Special Notes:: In 2010, Kama'aina Kids, a local non-profit organization was granted a 25 year lease of He'eia State Park, an 18 acre waterfront peninsula in Kaneohe Bay. In turn, Kama'aina Kayak and Snorkel Eco-Ventures was created to operate through the state park offering educational eco-adventures. 100% of the proceeds benefit Kama'aina Kids and the beautification and restoration of He'eia State Park.
