This 5-hour guided kayak tour takes you to the Mokulua Islands, located off scenic Lanikai Beach. It's about a 45-minute to 1-hour paddle to get there. Your trained guide will help you discover one of the islands - Moku Nui.

Wave conditions permitting, they will take you to a hidden cove on Moku Nui Island, and/or go for a short walk on the volcanic rocks around the island to enjoy a soak in the Queen's Bath tide pools, named after Queen Kapiolani, who loved this area. You can also swim and relax on the white sandy beach while sea birds fly overhead and nest nearby.

Frequently visited by sea turtles and Hawaiian monk seals, Moku Nui Island offers an unparalleled kayaking experience! Choose between a group or a private tour. With a private tour, it will be just you and your family or friends with the tour guide.

Driving directions from Waikiki:
Get on H-1 West and take exit 21B onto the PALI Highway (Highway 61). The PALI Highway will take you over the mountains in the middle of the island and down the other side into Kailua. After the tunnels at the top of the mountains, turn RIGHT at the 5th traffic light onto Hamakua Drive. The store is on the left at 134 Hamakua Drive.
Requirements:
Restrictions:: Participants must be at least 12 years old.
Minimum party of 2 required to book.
Tandem kayak (2 person) is the standard kayak used for pairs so long as weight doesn't exceed 420 lbs (190 kg). This is for safety and ease for paddling. If there is an odd number in your party that person will go on a single kayak.
Special Notes:: Transportation of kayak: Your tour guide will show you how to load equipment on to most vehicles (including smart cars and convertibles). Up to 3 kayaks will fit on one vehicle.
