Maui Travel Updates
In West Maui in and around Lahaina, the August 8th wildfire has resulted in the devastating loss of life, homes, historical sites and businesses. While travel to West Maui remains discouraged through October 7th, travel to all other parts of Maui is welcomed to keep residents employed and Maui's economy alive.
Many Maui tour and activity companies are back in operation and ready to show visitors the beauty of the island. To help West Maui heal, we kindly ask for your support as we eagerly welcome visitors to explore the other beautiful parts of Maui that remain untouched.
We would like to share the Travel Map below, which shows the areas on Maui that are currently restricted and the areas that are open for vacation travel, which may help travelers understand the geography as it relates to the Lahaina fire.
