Enjoy an unforgettable coast to coast journey, exploring many of the Big Island's top attractions. Departing from the Kona area, this tour takes you south along the Kona coastline with stops at a local coffee farm, the Punalu'u Bake Shop (the southernmost bakery in the United States), a gorgeous black sand beach, Hilo town, Rainbow Falls and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
Tour Highlights:
- Kona Joe Coffee: tour a local coffee farm and sample fresh coffees
- Pu'uhonua O Honaunau "Place of Refuge": Step back in time and walk upon the sacred grounds where ancient Hawaiians sought sanctuary and discover the rich cultural heritage echoing through the ancient walls
- Punalu'u Bake Shop: offers delicious Hawaiian pastries, including malasadas and Hawaiian sweet bread
- Punalu'u Black Sand Beach: jet-black sand meets the turquoise ocean waters of the Pacific Ocean - keep an eye out for green sea turtles which are frequently seen here
- Hawaii Volcanoes National Park: Kilauea Visitor Center, Uekahuna "Kilauea Caldera Overlook" and Wahinekapu steam vents
- Hilo town: Banyan Drive, Liliuokalani Gardens, King Kamehameha Statue & Tsunami Museum
- Rainbow Falls: rainbows magically form in the mist among the rainforest canopy - the waterfall empties into a beautiful pool below
- Return to Kona via Saddle Road
