Departing from Hilo, this tour takes you over to the other side of the Big Island to visit a variety of historic sites and follow the footsteps of the famous British explorer and cartographer, Captain James Cook. The first stop is Bay View Farm, a working 24 acre coffee farm situated on the slopes of Mauna Loa volcano just above scenic Kealakekua Bay. This are is world-famous for producing delicious Kona coffee. You'll get to see how coffee is grown and learn about the various steps and processes in coffee making. You can also sample 100% Kona coffee at a beautiful lookout point with stunning views of Kealakekua Bay and the Captain Cook Monument that stands on the only sliver of British land in the United States!

Later, this tour takes you to the seas on a high-speed Zodiac-style raft. Reaching the pristine waters of Kealakekua Bay, you'll enjoy up close views of the Captain Cook Monument. Cook is among the most famous British explorers and cartographers of all time. Sailing thousands of previously uncharted miles around the world, he met his tragic end right here on the Big Island.
