Where and When:: Tour times: 8:00 am, 9:15 am, 12:00 pm, 1:40 pm, 3:00 pm & 4:15 pm
Check in 1 hour prior to your flight time at the Mauna Loa Helicopters office, located at 3501 Rice Street in Lihue (in the Harbor Mall): View Map
The check-in process involves getting weighed, signing of waivers and watching a safety video. After check-in, you'll be instructed to proceed to the Lihue Airport: View Map
Requirements:
Restrictions:: Booking requires a minimum of 3 passengers and 4 passengers maximum.
Minimum age: 7 years old (must fly with doors on)
12 years and older can fly with the doors off.
All minors under 18 years old must be accompanied by and adult.
No loose items on the flight. All items must be secured to you at all times.
Weight restrictions: 285 lbs (129 kg) per person or 700 lbs (317 kg) total for all passengers.
If weight exceeds limits, the flight will be cancelled with no refund.
Cancellations or delays to the flight are at the pilot's discretion for safety reasons. If the pilot cancels the flight prior to take off, rescheduling will take place or full refunds will be issued.
