π₯Ύ Hike Maui - Haleakala Crater Hike
Experience Maui's summit in a way most visitors never do. Haleakala - the island's towering dormant volcano - is home to a vast, silent crater with sweeping views that feel almost otherworldly. This guided crater hike takes you through two distinct high-elevation landscapes in one day.
First, you'll head to the 10,000-foot summit for a two-mile hike across an expansive, desert-like landscape filled with dramatic cinder cones. Then you'll descend to about 8,000 feet for another two-mile hike along an old lava trail, where rare native plants line the path. Throughout the tour, your naturalist guide will point out geology, flora, and cultural stories that bring Haleakala to life - so you donβt just see it, you understand it.
