Hike Maui - Zipline & Waterfall Combo Tour

This is a great combo tour that includes two of Maui's most popular activities: a nature hike with a swim in a tropical waterfall and an exciting zipline tour.

Travel along Maui’s backroads to a tropical rainforest. Hike for 1-2 miles along lush trails and streams and arrive at a gorgeous waterfall where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in a natural pool. This tour includes a delicious lunch & snacks before heading for ziplining!

Zipline at Skyline Eco-Adventures after lunch. Soar over 90 foot drips and canyons on 5 different ziplines!  Also swing on Hawaii's only pendulum line and cross a swinging bridge Indiana Jones-style!

Special Instructions
Where and When:
Meet at 9:30 am at Kahului Park & Ride (View Map). The Park & Ride meeting location is along a large concrete wall with a single row of parking facing Hwy 380 west of Hwy 311. Tour returns to Kahului Park & Ride around 4:00 pm.

Roundtrip transportation from south-side hotels is optional. If selected, the hotel pick-up time is around 8:45 am (varies by location). Return to hotel is around 4:15 pm (varies by location).

Directions from Wailea / Makena / Kihei (the south side of the island): From Hwy 31 (Piilani Hwy) head north. Follow airport signs to Kahului, bearing right onto Hwy 311. After 10 minutes, look for a big church (King's Cathedral), then move into left lane. Turn left onto Hwy 380 (Kuihelani Hwy). Go 200 yards and turn right into Park & Ride commuter lot. Park your car against a concrete block wall.

Directions from Lahaina / Kaanapali / Kapalua (the west side of the island): Head south on Hwy 30 as if you're going to Kahului Airport. Turn right onto Hwy 380. Five miles down 380 there's a concrete block wall on the left. Turn across highway into Park & Ride commuter lot against that wall.
Requirements:
Parties of 8+ will be assessed a $250.00 gratuity at the time of their reservation.
Restrictions:
Participants must be at least 8 years old.
Weight must be between 60-260 lbs (27.5-117.5 kg) for ziplining.
Weight limit is strictly enforced and each guest will be weighed at check-in.
Guests must wear athletic or hiking shoes with a fully enclosed toe and heel that can get wet and muddy on the waterfall hike.
All participants must be capable of moderate to advanced physical activity and be able to walk over uneven, muddy terrain, as well as ascend and descend steeply inclined terrain and/or short climbs. Participants must not have neck, back, shoulder, knee, ankle injuries, heart conditions, or recent surgeries.
Pregnant women are not allowed to zipline.
All guests must sign a waiver to participate.
Special Notes:
Hike Maui has the following COVID-19 health & safety protocols:
Small groups: Tour capacity is 60% to allow for maximum physical distancing in their vans and on the hikes. Group sizes are limited to 8 hikers plus the tour guide.
Mask requirement: Guests are required to wear a mask while riding in the van and during parts of the tour where 6 feet of physical distancing isn't possible
Physical distancing: Guests will be asked to maintain 6 feet of physical distancing whenever possible on the tour.
Wellness checks: Guests and staff members are required to certify they are healthy and symptom-free with no known COVID-19 exposure and undergo a temperature check on the day of the tour.
Stringent cleaning: All high-touch surfaces are sanitized daily. Hand sanitizer is readily available for guests on the tour.
Vehicle Sanitation: Hike Maui sanitizes their fleet with Bioesque® Botanical Disinfectant, an environmentally friendly, EPA-registered Broad-Spectrum Disinfectant on the American Chemistry Council's list of EPA pre-approved coronavirus-fighting products.
