Kapalua Beach is lined with palm trees and fringed by lava rocks that extend in to the ocean. Being one of Maui’s most beautiful beaches, this protected stretch of beach offers great swimming with its often-calm waters. Kapalua beach has many facilities, good parking, and a great lawn area. There have been tourist publications with mention of Kapalua Bay being once cited as the best beach in the United States.
