Hanalei Bridge
Hanalei Bridge is a very old bridge in Kauai that has appeal because of its rickety stature. Having a 15 ton weight limit, Hanalei Bridge seems to be standing the test of time. However, I’m not so sure I’d want to be driving a 15 ton truck across it. But, it is one of those Kauai sights that make Kauai so special. It is testimony to the non commercialization of Old Hawaii.
To get to the Hanalei Bridge from Pinceville, take Highway 56 west across the north shore of Kauai. The Highway changes number to 560 and is where the Hanalei area begins.
