There will be renovations taking place from December 29, 2011 to May 15, 2012.
"We are starting an exciting project at the Aloha Pavilion to rejuvenate the space. With the renovations happening there will be an 8ft wall blocking off the two pods from the rest of the area. This will be limiting the space and the Luau check in location and set up will change. Starting on Thursday 12/29 we will begin lining up the Luau guests on the beach walk fronting Lokahi Point. They will check in at the surf shack desk and proceed over the bridge to enter the Luau.
During much of the renovations there will not be access to the Aloha Pavilion via the hotel lobby and Gallery walk areas, the only access will be in the back by landscaping and over the bridge from the beach walk. There is the potential that the original path will be available before the completion date (5/15/2012), we will keep you informed.
Also, all Luau Guests will be directed to the Ono's restrooms during the Luau. So please anticipate heavier use of those restrooms during Luau nights."
