Dragon’s Teeth in Maui

The Dragon’s Teeth in Maui was caused by harsh wind blowing over Makalua-puna Point, causing the lava to flow upward, harden and eventually resembling teeth.

Charles Lindbergh’s Grave

Living his last days on the lush coast of Hana, the famed aviator, Charles Lindnergh was eventually laid to rest in beautiful Kipahulu at the Palapala Ho'omau Church.

The Bellstone in Maui

This large volcanic rock is located along Highway 340 just outside of Kapalua. Making unusual sounds if hit in the right spot, there are several Bellstones found throughout the Hawaiian Islands.

Oneuli Beach

This isn’t the typical beach that comes to mind when you think of Hawaii beaches. It doesn’t have the fine white sand that many Hawaii beaches have. This beach has dark sand mixed with rocks and can get extremely hot when walking on it.

Black Rock

This famous Black Rock was formed from lava many years ago and separates the Ka’anapali area in half. Hawaiian legend states that the spirits of warriors leapt from the Black Rock to join their ancestors in the afterlife.

Bailey House Museum

Built in 1883 as a missionary home for Edward and Caroline Bailey, the Bailey House Museum exhibits collections of Hawaiian artifacts, paintings, and hand-crafted items that reflect Hawaiian heritage.

Ahihi Kinau Bay and Nature Preserve

Located 1.5 miles south of the Maui Prince Hotel, the Ahihi Kina’u Preserve encompasses the shoreline between the La Perouse Bay and Ahihi Bay.
