🤿 Hilo Ocean Adventures - Certified Beach Night Dive (1 Tank)

Experience Wai'olena Reef in an entirely new way on a guided certified beach night dive near Hilo. As daylight fades over Hilo Bay, the volcanic reef transforms beneath the glow of your dive light. Lava formations appear more dramatic after dark, reef colors become more vivid and nocturnal marine life begins emerging from crevices and coral-covered terrain.

The dive takes place at the same shoreline used for Hilo Ocean Adventures' daytime shore dives. Completing the 1-tank daytime dive beforehand is highly recommended because it allows you to become familiar with the entry, exit and underwater terrain, but it is not required for certified divers who are already comfortable with shore diving and nighttime conditions.

Freshwater springs, volcanic formations and nutrient-rich waters support a diverse underwater ecosystem at Wai'olena Reef. After sunset, divers may encounter hidden reef creatures and active nocturnal species that are rarely seen during the day, making this a memorable East Hawaii diving experience.
