Dolphin Discoveries - Kona Snorkel Adventure
Snorkel in the beautiful waters of Kealakekua Bay on this Kona snorkel adventure. Discover both the historical significance of the bay as well as the island's best coral reef exploration with a wide variety of marine life. This snorkeling spot is also home to the Captain Cook Monument.
After snorkeling at Kealakekua, we will be heading to another snorkel site at Honaunau Bay at the historical Place of Refuge with its teaming coral reef formations, where green sea turtles are frequently seen. This site is almost always calm and has excellent visibility most of the year.
After snorkeling we will head out for some more dolphin and whale watching, as we look for and observe our local marine mammals. Most frequently sighted marine life includes spinner, spotted and bottlenose dolphins, pilot whales and seasonally humpback whales.
