🛶 Ocean Safaris - Keauhou Sea Cave Tour
The Keauhou Sea Cave Tour gives you the opportunity to discover underwater lava tubes, gorgeous caves and unforgettable sea cliffs. After you enjoy cruising along sea cliffs adorned with unique blowholes and arches, you’ll ride your kayak into a sea cave with crystal clear blue waters and bright pink walls.
Later, all of the kayaks will be set up together next to a gorgeous sea cave that has a protected cove perfect for swimming and snorkeling (bring your snorkel gear). During your kayaking adventure, keep an eye out for a variety of sea life, including spinner dolphins, sea turtles, eels, octopus, and if you come during whale watching season, you may get to see humpback whales as well! You can also walk over to the tide pools and observe the eels hunting crabs or — if you’re more of the adventurous type — you can jump off the cliffs into the water down below!
This Big Island kayak tour is led by CPR-certified, licensed and insured experts. Prior to kayaking, you’ll participate in a briefing about water safety and paddling techniques. The specific kayak tour route and locations visited depend upon current ocean and weather conditions and will be decided upon by your tour guide.
