The snorkel location is chosen based on the day's best conditions and guest input. Sites can include Pawai Bay (noted for its caves, arches and swimthroughs) or Makalawena offshore of the Big Island's best beach (accessible by boat, hiking, or rugged 4x4 only). Enjoy lunch after snorkeling. Dolphins and turtles are frequently seen year round. During whale season (December through April), humpback whales are often seen as well.

    Directions: As you enter Honokohau Harbor, stay straight. Do NOT turn right. Continue straight (all boats will be on your right and no boats on your left). Once you reach the yellow locked gate, turn right into the parking lot. Check in at the Hawaii Nautical slip in the Outer Basin, slip #38 & #39.
