Experience the newly rebuilt Kohala
Zipline Adventure, featuring 5 ziplines, 2 sky bridges, a zipline and
bridge leading to a waterfall, and Hawaii's only spiral tree-based
staircase. This is the only canopy zipline tour on Hawaii Island,
offering an exciting aerial journey through a towering forest on a
private nature reserve.
Located on the northern tip of
the Big Island, the course is set within a fully intact 2,400-acre
ahupua'a, a traditional Hawaiian land division extending from the
mountains toward the sea. As you travel through the forest canopy, you
will soar among mature trees, cross elevated bridges and enjoy views of
the lush, stream-rich landscape that has shaped Kohala for
generations.
The adventure is suitable for both
first-time zipliners and experienced thrill seekers. Two certified
guides accompany each tour, helping guests feel safe and comfortable
while sharing information about the area's natural environment, cultural
history and historic agricultural landscape.
