Umauma Experience - Umauma River Swim & Kayak Experience

Spend some time relaxing in a private area of the Umauma River. Swim, kayak, stand up paddleboard or just relax and enjoy the lush scenery with your friends and family. A delicious catered lunch is provided in a secluded pavilion.

This lush area of escape was even featured as the backdrop of an episode of "The Bachelorette."

Tour Highlights:

  • Relax and play at a private section of Umauma Falls

Where and When:
Tour time: 12:00 pm to approximately 1:15 pm.
Check in at 11:15 am at Umauma Experience, 31-313 Old Mamalahoa Hwy, Hakalau, HI 96710. You'll see a steep concrete driveway with an overhead wooden sign reading The Umauma Experience. Turn up the drive and the Visitor Center will be at the top on the right.

Tour departs at 11:45 am from the Visitor Center and returns at 1:30 pm.
Children under age 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
