Kualoa Ranch - Full-Day Experience Pass (Best of Kualoa Experience)

If selecting transportation, Waikiki hotel pick-ups are between 6:50 am and 7:30 am and departure from the ranch is at approximately 2:30 pm.

Kualoa Ranch offers a variety of activities and things to do that one can easily spend an entire day there. The Full-Day Experience Pass includes a delicious buffet lunch and 3 experience tours.

  • The Valley - Movie Sites & Ranch Tour
  • The Garden - Taste of Kualoa Farm Tour
  • The Mountains - Jungle Expedition or for families with children under 3 this tour would be substituted for The Ocean - Ocean Voyaging (not available Sundays or Federal Holidays)

The Valley - Movie Sites & Ranch Tour
The Valley - Movie Sites & Ranch Tour:
Hop aboard a vintage school bus and explore gorgeous Ka'a'awa Valley, where many of Hollywood's biggest blockbuster movies and television shows were filmed. See Godzilla’s footprints and the famous battlefield from the movie Windtalkers. You’ll also visit countless other locations, including sites from Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates, George of the Jungle and of course… LOST!

Tour duration: 1.5 hours
Days of operation: 7 days a week
Requirements: Children (age 3-11 years) must be accompanied by an adult.

Taste of Kualoa Farm Tour
The Taste of Kualoa Farm Tour:
This tour takes you to an 800-year-old Hawaiian fishpond encompassing 125 acres. You’ll learn aquaculture in the old Hawaii. The fishpond tour is followed by a sensory garden tour, where you’ll see a variety of fruit trees and tropical flowers.

Tour duration: 1.5 hours
Days of operation: Mondays through Saturdays only. Does not take place on federal holidays.

The Mountains - Jungle Expedition
The Mountains - Jungle Expedition:
Board a 6-wheel drive Swiss Pinzgauer and get ready for an adventurous jungle tour through gorgeous Hakipu'u Valley. Your guide will maneuver through stream beds, tackle rough terrain and then power up a steep hill. At one point you’ll disembark and after a short hike, you will be greeted by one of the most dramatic views of the windward coastline, where lush undeveloped tropical valleys will stretch out before you.

Tour duration: 1.5 hours
Days of operation: 7 days a week
Restrictions: Expectant mothers and guests with back problems are not advised to participate in this tour.
Requirements: Children must be at least 3 years old to participate.

The Ocean - Ocean Voyaging
The Ocean - Ocean Voyaging Tour (for families with infants):
Not available on federal holidays.  Enjoy a tour of Oahu’s beautiful Kaneohe Bay aboard a 49-passenger catamaran. This ocean voyaging tour gives you a unique vantage point of Oahu’s windward coast, including Mokoli'i Island (also known as Chinaman’s Hat) and Hokule'a Beach – the ceremonial home of the first modern replica of an ancient sailing canoe. The views of the Ko'olau Mountains from the ocean are unmatched, and the lively historical narration is both educational AND enjoyable!

Tour duration: 1.5 hours
Days of operation: Mondays through Saturdays only. Does not take place on federal holidays.

Where and When:
Waikiki Roundtrip Transportation:
If you selected and paid for transportation, the exact pick-up time and location will be emailed to you. Pick-ups are at several central locations in Waikiki and may be within walking distance of your hotel. Pick-ups are usually between 6:50 am & 7:30 am.
Kualoa Ranch uses Roberts buses, Polynesian Adventure Tour buses and Royal Star buses. Their guides wear green collared shirts and call out for Kualoa Ranch at each stop.

Driving Out:
Check-in at 8:00 am. There may be island wide road work so please make sure to give yourself enough time to arrive to Kualoa Ranch.

Kualoa Ranch is only 45 minutes from Waikiki. Take the H-1 Freeway west to the Likelike Highway, Route #63. Proceed up the Likelike Highway and through the Wilson Tunnel. Descend towards Kaneohe town and exit onto Kahekili Highway, Route #83, heading north. Continue along Kahekili Highway - note that the road becomes Kamehameha Highway as you pass the historic "Hygienic Store" in the village of Kahalu`u. In about 10 minutes you will see signs indicating you are approaching the Kualoa Ranch entrance which will be on your left as you round the curve past Mokoli`i Island (Chinaman's Hat).
