Kualoa Ranch - Hollywood Movie Sites & Ranch Tour

Visit Kualoa Ranch, nestled in Ka'a'awa Valley, and see where many of Hollywood’s biggest blockbuster movies and TV shows were filmed. Find the footprints of Godzilla, explore the Windtalkers battleground and see familiar scenes from Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates and LOST. You might even see shooting in progress! Along the way you’ll travel in a vintage school bus and have plenty of great photo opportunities of one of the most scenic locations on Oahu – Ka'a'awa Valley – framed by the lush Ko'olau Mountain Range and the ocean.

Special Instructions
Where and When:

If you select transportation, you will be given one of the below pick ups that are closest to you:

Pick up at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel (outside the entrance on Paoakalani St) at 7:15am.
Pick up at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel (at Aloha Landing bus depot) at 7:30am.
Pick up at the Modern Honolulu (outside front entrance on Hobrone Lane) at 7:45am.

Please arrive to your pick up location 15 minutes early for these departure times.

All return transportation will be leaving Kualoa Ranch at 3:15pm.

Drive Out

Kualoa Ranch is only 45 minutes from Waikiki. Take the H-1 Freeway west to the Likelike Highway, Route #63. Proceed up the Likelike Highway and through the Wilson Tunnel. Descend towards Kaneohe town and exit onto Kahekili Highway, Route #83, heading north. Continue along Kahekili Highway - note that the road becomes Kamehameha Highway as you pass the historic "Hygienic Store" in the village of Kahalu'u. In about 10 minutes you will see signs indicating you are approaching the Kualoa Ranch entrance which will be on your left as you round the curve past Mokoli'i Island (Chinaman's Hat).

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Beginning September 13, in compliance with State restrictions, proof of vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 48 hours of visiting Kualoa Ranch will be needed if entering our Visitor Center Café or Gift Shop. Children under 12 years of age are exempt.

All guests must attend a briefing and sign a liability waiver before tour begins.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at check in to sign the liability waiver.
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult on all tours.

Kualoa Ranch Health and Safety Guidelines:
In accordance with current state of Hawaii COVID-19 regulations, all guests are required to wear a face covering (face mask, bandana, face gaiter, etc) while indoors. Children under 5 years old are exempt. Face masks are available for purchase at the Kualoa Ranch Visitor Center if you need one.
In accordance with current state of Hawaii COVID-19 contact tracing protocols, one person in each party of up to 10 guests will be required to provide first & last name, email address, and phone number to assist in contact tracing should it become necessary.
