Poipu Beach, Hawaii

Another one of the world’s best beaches happens to be Poipu Beach in Kauai. Running along Kauai’s south coast, Poipu Beach is made up of a series of three white crescents curving beside the beautiful turquoise waters of the ocean. Poipu Beach offers surfing, snorkeling, excellent swimming, and relaxation.

Poipu Beach is a popular spot for families. They have everything to do for people of all ages. Older kids can catch some surf closer to the rocky outcroppings of the beach, while younger ones along with wader’s and novice swimmers can stick around the “crescents” middle reaches where the water tends to be much calmer. The east side of Poipu Beach is Poipu Beach Park where there is a lifeguard on duty and shallower waters near the shore that make for safe swimming. Also at the park there are restrooms, showers, and picnic tables making a long day at the beach both comforting and fun.
