Kamaole Beach Park, Maui
Made up of three different parks, Kamaole Park I, Kamaole Park II, and Kamaole Park III all make up the Kamaole Beach Parks on the south side of Maui. The locals refer to these three beaches as Kam 1, Kam 2, and Kam 3. These three Kamaole beaches are numbered according to their order from north to south.
Kam 1 has the largest beach with Kam 3 having the largest park complete with a large grassy area great for people watching, picnicking, and relaxing. There are restrooms, outdoor showers, and picnic tables in the parks near each beach. All three parks have a free parking a lot or there is free parking alongside the street. Across the street from Kam 1 and Kam 2 are two shopping centers, the Dolpin Center and Rainbow Mall.
Several Kihei condos sit directly across the street from the Kamaole Beaches including: Maui Vista, Maui Banyan, Maui Coast, Maui Hill, Maui Kamaole, Kihei Akahi, Kamaole Sands, and Hale Kamaole. Condos such as: Mana Kai and Royal Mauian sit on or are adjacent to the Kamaole beaches. Kamaole Beach Park in Maui is a wonderful destination beach to be enjoyed by many.
