When you visit the Kilauea Visitor Center, you can check in with park rangers for current conditions, safety updates, and suggestions based on your time and interests. The center also offers maps and information on popular hikes, ranger-guided programs you may be able to join, and the latest eruption updates for the park. An informational film is shown hourly from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, giving a helpful overview before you head out to explore.
