Royal Hawaiian Golf Club
Formerly known as Luana Hills, the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club is located at the base of the majestic Ko'olau Mountain range, with scenic views to Mt. Olomana in the background. The 18-hole, par-72 course is carved right through the tropical rainforest. The scenery is reminiscent of scenes in the moves Jurassic Park, just without the dinosaurs! Even the 1.5-mile drive up to the clubhouse leads through a magnificent rainforest and is perhaps one of the most gorgeous drives to a golf course anywhere.
The Royal Hawaiian Golf Club course layout features contrasting nines. The front nine has a rugged and mountainous terrain, while the back nine features as more open and rolling terrain. Overall this course is a demanding course with an interesting mix of beauty and challenge.
