Aloha Kai Luau at Sea Life Park's Makapu'u Meadows is the best luau on Oahu. This luau is the former home to Ka Moana Luau, but same great entertainment, food and venue. The only thing that has changed is the name and is now called Aloha Kai Luau. This luau still offers entertainment from Malu Productions, which is THE top entertainment company in Hawaii. Malu has been honored to have been awarded "Best Family Entertainment" in Honolulu. The team of entertainers comprise of award-winning fire knife champions, vocalists, dancers and recording artists.

Aloha Kai Luau features a stunningly beautiful luau setting unlike any other on Oahu. Backed by tall sea cliffs and overlooking the ocean and Manana Island just offshore, it's a picture perfect setting! Experience a traditional Hawaiian luau - a memorable evening with cultural presentations and a delicious luau dinner, followed by an exciting Polynesian show culminating with a sword of fire!

Aloha Kai Luau at Sea Life Park is convenient to Waikiki. We recommend getting out of Waikiki and checking out the area and this luau is perfect for that. You pass Diamond Head, Koko Head, Hanauma Bay, Lanai Lookout, Halona Blowhole, Sandy Beach, Makapu'u Beach and Makapu'u lighthouse on the way to the luau and ultimately overlook Rabbit Island during the luau! It is only a short 25-minute scenic drive where some of the other luaus (Chief's Luau) you have to get on the H1 Highway where it can take over an hour one way to get to the luau. It is important to make the most out of your “Hawaii Time” and therefore Aloha Kai Luau is a great choice.

All of the luau packages also include admission to Sea Life Park, where you can get early transportation to the luau if you choose or drive out and enjoy Sea Life Park before the luau.

Upon arrival at this Oahu luau, you'll be warmly welcomed and can then watch or participate in cultural activities, such as flower lei making, a hula lesson, coconut-headband weaving and an ukulele lesson. There will also be several mini-performances, including coconut tree climbing and a coconut demonstration. There is also an Imu Ceremony with the unearthing of the pig! Then sit down to a delicious Hawaiian luau dinner, featuring a wide variety of delicacies.

After the big luau feast, sit back and enjoy a spectacular production that highlights the vibrant traditions of Hawaii and the love of the sea as you are taken on a voyage across Polynesia.
