Wai Kai Adventure Park is Hawaii's newest waterfront playground, built around a private 52-acre lagoon. Experience Hawaii's only floating playground and obstacle course, plus a shaded splash pad area for relaxed fun. With on-site dining, year-round events, and activities for every age and comfort level, Wai Kai Adventure Park combines high-energy fun with laid-back lagoon time on West Oahu.

The Wai Kai Lagoon Adventure is the park's standout family-friendly attraction: an over an acre of floating playground and obstacle course set on the Wai Kai Lagoon. This expanded course features a brand new 20-foot slide and an elevated obstacle area, with 20+ interconnected elements including slides, balance beams, ramps, bridges, monkey bars, and climbing towers. Your admission also includes access to the Ohana Splash Pad — a shaded, floating relaxation area that's perfect for breaks between rounds.

  • AquaVenture Floating Obstacle Course (Ages 7+):
    Splash, slide, and scramble your way across our inflatable floating playground on the Wai Kai Lagoon. With twists, turns, and plenty of wipeouts, this course is perfect for all ages (7+) looking for high-energy fun on the water.
  • Aqua Peakz Elevated Challenge Course (Ages 7+):
    Take the excitement to new heights on Aqua Peakz, an elevated, over-water obstacle challenge that tests your strength, coordination, and nerve. Navigate rope bridges, climbing walls, balance beams and more, all while suspended above the shimmering lagoon.
  • Keiki Course (Ages 4-6):
    Designed just for our youngest adventurers, this special circuit features fun, easy-to-navigate obstacles. With simplified challenges and a focus on safety, it's the ideal way for little ones to play, explore, and build confidence while having a blast.
  • Ohana Splash Pad (All ages):
    Perfect for guests of all ages, the Floating Splash Pad is a fun and relaxing oasis on the Wai Kai Lagoon. This shallow-water area features gentle splash zones and a floating pool ideal for wading, cooling off, and safe water play.

Guests can check in and receive their activity wristbands at a Guest Service kiosk. Guest Service kiosks for lagoon activities are located next to Sessions Lifestyle & Retail store, and on the lagoon-level boardwalk next to the elevator. Guests are encouraged to arrive and check in at least 30 minutes before their activity starts.

Optional Roundtrip Transportation:
A convenient shuttle service from Waikiki or Ko Olina area hotels is available for an additional fee. Waikiki pick-up locations include Hilton Hawaiian Village, Ross Dress for Less (Seaside Avenue), and Waikiki Beach Marriott (Paoakalani Avenue). Shuttle pick-up in Waikiki is at 8:30 am and 12:00 pm. Dropoff in Waikiki is at 6:00 pm. Shuttle pick-up in Ko Olina is at 11:30 am. Dropoff in Ko Olina is at 5:30 pm.
Requirements
All guests must wear an approved USCG Type II personal flotation device while participating in lagoon activities or on the Wai Kai Lagoon dock (life vest will be provided). Wai Kai reserves the right to initiate a Safety and Hydration Break at any time to ensure the well-being of all guests and staff. Typically, this break will take place from 1 pm-1:30 pm, though the exact time may vary based on conditions. Guest safety is Wai Kai's number one priority, and weather conditions are always taken into consideration. Wai Kai reserves the right to cancel any reservation if conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g. high winds or lightning). Guests will be rescheduled or provided with a refund for the activity that was cancelled.
Restrictions
Children ages 4-6 are required to be supervised by a guardian (18+) on the course at all times. If a guardian (18+) is only going to accompany the child on the Keiki (Child) Course, they may purchase the Wai Kai Lagoon Adventure - Keiki (Child) Course product, but they will not be allowed access to the Wai Kai Lagoon Adventure course for ages 7+.
