The Wai Kai Lagoon Explorer includes the Wai Kai Lagoon Adventure plus a Paddle Pass for even more time on the water. Splash, climb, slide, and balance across over an acre of floating playground and obstacle course, then enjoy unlimited access to non-motorized watercraft such as stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, and hydro bikes.

Wai Kai Adventure Park is Hawaii's newest waterfront playground, built around a private 52-acre lagoon. Experience Hawaii's only floating playground and obstacle course, plus a shaded splash pad area for relaxed fun. With on-site dining, year-round events, and activities for every age and comfort level, Wai Kai Adventure Park combines high-energy fun with laid-back lagoon time in West Oahu.

This Wai Kai Lagoon Explorer package includes access to the Lagoon Adventure (over an acre of floating playground and obstacle course) and a Paddle Pass (unlimited access to non-motorized watercraft including stand-up paddleboards, kayaks and hydro bikes). Access to the Ohana Splash Pad, a floating relaxation area, is also included.

  • AquaVenture Floating Obstacle Course (Ages 7+):
    Splash, slide, and scramble your way across the inflatable floating playground on the Wai Kai Lagoon. With twists, turns, and plenty of wipeouts, this course is perfect for high-energy fun on the water.
  • Aqua Peakz Elevated Challenge Course (Ages 7+):
    Navigate rope bridges, climbing walls, balance beams and more on an elevated over-water obstacle course suspended above the lagoon.
  • Keiki Course (Ages 4–6):
    A kid-friendly circuit featuring simplified obstacles and a focus on safety for younger adventurers.
  • Ohana Splash Pad (All ages):
    A shaded floating relaxation and splash area ideal for wading, cooling off and safe water play.
  • Paddle Pass (Ages 7+):

Guests can check in and receive their activity wristbands at a Guest Service kiosk. Guest Service kiosks for lagoon activities are located next to Sessions Lifestyle & Retail store, and on the lagoon-level boardwalk next to the elevator. Guests are encouraged to arrive and check in at least 30 minutes before their activity starts.

Optional Roundtrip Transportation:
A convenient shuttle service from Waikiki or Ko Olina area hotels is available for an additional fee. Waikiki pick-up locations include Hilton Hawaiian Village, Ross Dress for Less (Seaside Avenue), and Waikiki Beach Marriott (Paoakalani Avenue). Shuttle pick-up in Waikiki is at 8:30 am and 12:00 pm. Dropoff in Waikiki is at 6:00 pm. Shuttle pick-up in Ko Olina is at 11:30 am. Dropoff in Ko Olina is at 5:30 pm.
Requirements
All guests must wear an approved USCG Type II personal flotation device while participating in lagoon activities or on the Wai Kai Lagoon dock (life vest will be provided). Wai Kai reserves the right to initiate a Safety and Hydration Break at any time to ensure the well-being of all guests and staff. Typically, this break will take place from 1 pm-1:30 pm, though the exact time may vary based on conditions. Guest safety is Wai Kai's number one priority, and weather conditions are always taken into consideration. Wai Kai reserves the right to cancel any reservation if conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g. high winds or lightning). Guests will be rescheduled or provided with a refund for the activity that was cancelled.
Restrictions
Children ages 4-6 are required to be supervised by a guardian (18+) on the course at all times.

Showers and changing areas are available on site.
Operation Days
Daily during peak season.
Closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays during low season.
Full day pass available Saturday & Sunday only during low season.
