🚁 Rainbow Helicopters - Kona Coast Hualalai Volcano
Departing from the Kona Airport, this Big Island helicopter tour takes you over the beautiful Kona coastline and Hualalai volcano. You'll be taking off over the ancient Hawaiian Kaloko fishponds and then glide over the sparkling waters of Kailua Bay, surrounded by the lively Alii Drive, Kona's main street.
Enjoy spectacular aerial views of the pristine white sands of Magic Sands Beach and the vibrant Kona coffee farms. As you fly south, take a trip back in time over the Kealakekua Bay Marine Preserve, home to the historic Captain Cook Monument.
From here, the tour continues to the sacred Hawaiian Place of Refuge, Honaunau, and the geologic wonders of Kaupulehu Crater and the majestic Hualalai volcano. The volcanic formations provide a stark contrast to the ecosystem within the Puu Waawaa Forest Reserve.
The tour then continues north to the golden sands of Anaehoomalu Bay and the serene turquoise waters of Kiholo Bay, including the secluded beauty of Makalawena Beach.
Doors Off Option: Rainbow Helicopters gives you the choice if you
would like to fly with doors on or doors off. You can select your
flight preference at time of booking. With the doors off option, you get
